About the Festival

Our Story

Since its inception in 2005, LA Femme International Film Festival USA (LAFIFF) has showcased over 3,000 women creators from around the world. Our mission has always been to elevate indie female filmmakers, giving them a stage to screen their work and gain industry recognition.

Now, we are expanding our impact with a European SISTER FESTIVAL edition in Budapest, Hungary—a thriving cultural hub that bridges East and West, making it the perfect location for a truly global festival.

LAFIFF Europe IS A SEPARATE FESTIVAL TO OUR USA FESTIVAL but no less dynamic!

It will continue our tradition of excellence while spotlighting European women in film, fostering new opportunities for filmmakers, and connecting them with buyers, distributors, and audiences worldwide.
