Is to highlight the films of WOMEN filmmakers supporting them from their first short to the moment they screen their first feature and everything in between.

LAFIFF Europe embraces the spirit of the Independent filmmakers with a support system that nurtures female creators across Europe. As a legacy film festival in USA our sister festival here in Europe will continue supporting the amazing spirit of screenings, unprecedented educational panels with experts in all avenues of the entertainment fields (funding, production, marketing, and distribution) , and the continuing efforts to secure distribution for our Alumni. LA Femme Europe is where the female indie filmmaker scene shines with its one of a kind spirit, content, education, screenings, and distribution opportunities for the woman filmmaker.  

The LA Femme International Film Festival, Europe is a sister festival to LA Femme International Film Festival (USA) a non-profit organization. This premier festival (USA), now in its twenty-first year, focuses on DIVERSE women filmmakers who create film projects for a worldwide audience from every part of the world. LA Femme offers a unique opportunity for women filmmakers who seek a more creative approach to filmmaking as a platform for their work to be seen supported with the backing of a long-established festival specializing in showcasing FEMALE DIRECTORS as well as PRODUCERS and WRITERS in Live Action: Features, Documentary, Animation, Shorts, Short Documentaries , Webseries as well as Screenplays and TV Pilots.

Leslie LaPage

Founder/ Director

For over a decade Leslie LaPage has produced, directed and line produced for Film, TV, Music Videos, Commercials and Theatrical productions nationally and internationally in both the independent and commercial markets. She has worked for such companies as Black Entertainment Television Action Pay Per View (BET) as one the only Latina women at the time, HBO, Lifetime TV, MTV, Paramount and Nickelodeon. She has also directed and written short films early in her career. She was a key programmer for Slamdance and created the Slamdance Filmmakers Bootcamp and then was the Festival Director for the New Orleans Media Experience Multimedia and Film Festival.

She has run and operated Tiger's Eye Sound, a dialogue editorial company, with her partner Bruce Murphy. Leslie and Tiger's Eye Sound dialogue-edited such critically acclaimed films as: 1998 Academy Awards Nominee, Best Foreign Film – "Four Days in September"; 1998 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for "Smoke Signals"; and the film "Dead Man's Curve," which was a Sundance Film Festival Invitee. She is currently actively producing independent films. Leslie has an MFA from CalArts, BFA from CSULA.

Leslie LaPage is currently a professor for UCLA extension, Lecturer at Loyola Marymount University (top 10 Film School in the World -top 5 in the USA) and actively involved in entertainment packaging of TV and Film projects. She acts as a Producer's Rep matching films with distribution companies. She currently created and hosts the successful podcast "Best In Fest" on all platforms worldwide

Judit Brunáczky-Parádi

Judit Parádi is an art historian, PR and marketing expert, and founder of Lemon and Lime Kft, an award-winning PR agency in Hungary. With a passion for storytelling and brand building, she has led innovative campaigns that blend creativity with strategic marketing. Her expertise spans public relations, business development, and cultural initiatives, helping brands and institutions build strong, lasting connections. Blending her artistic vision with a results-driven strategy, Judit has propelled Lemon and Lime Creative Agency to prominence, earning acclaim for its bold and impactful campaigns.Judit is an active member of the Equalizer Foundation, promoting gender equality in business, politics, and culture.

Zita Szécsi

Zita Szécsi is a seasoned HR professional with expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and adult education across various sectors, including event management. Well-connected in the film and television industry, she has hosted productions at her own venue. With experience in managerial roles—both as an employee and later as General Manager of her family-owned company—she has worked in adult education, training, event management, hospitality, and advisory services for communication and sports events. Zita excels in organization, leadership, HR, and talent management, alongside skills in hospitality, event hosting, venue management, and interior styling and decoration.

Fanni Forgács

Fanni Forgacs is a young filmmaker, producer, and director with a BFA in Cinema from California College of ASU. She has worked on a range of productions, from independent films, television and streaming shows to studio projects with MarVista Entertainment and Fox Film. Skilled in writing, directing, editing, and production coordination, she has also contributed to marketing and content creation. With films showcased at international festivals and multiple awards to her name, Fanni is a rising talent dedicated to storytelling and innovative visual narratives.
